This was an easy book to listen to as Reese reads it herself. She is about as southern as you get. Her book Whiskey in a Teacup reminds me of the value of traditions, family time, manners, and teaching our children how to have conversations and respect each other. You will find yourself reflecting on your own childhood traditions and, if you are like me, sad that you don’t do more.
She offers family games, recipes, and stories her southern family experienced in their community. Simple things like the art of getting dressed!!! Workout clothes are for working out and sweating…..then you change! I love this! You will enjoy this book…plus some great southern recipes!
